Chopping block
Took two trades today and they started out well but then went against me pretty quickly. Fortunately, I had scaled out 1/2 my shares before moving my stops. I missed a nice move up with HBC off a break of the 12pm high. Shorted V and BTU with no luck. Here are the charts for your viewing displeasure.

What are you using for scanner these days ?
My standard IB scanner is not throwing up much at the moment. Might try out some others on free trial : Topgun, Trade-Ideas etc.

Maybe keep watching those stopped out for a loss stocks, etc, and wait for another entry...like the afternoon sell offs in bear mkts. Interesting premkt TI scan/Briefing

traderam: still using a combination of IB scans and Prophet. A lot of candidates came from prophet today. Let me know when you find the scanner that only pumps out winners :)

bl: this just isn't a great market to trade for me. The wild swings may me nervous and time in front of the computer usually fades at the mess unfolds on my monitor.
