Time off next year...

I think I may do like some other bloggers and just take off from mid-August to mid-September next year. Trading gappers has been awfully boring lately. Made no trades today as nothing set up for me.
Frankly, I hope I can just make a couple good trades this week... not really looking for much.

Mr. Market... give me something to trade!!!!

Enjoy your blog, I have added you to my blog roll. Could you do the same. The 30 minute charts have been setting up much nicer lately then the 5 and 15.

Alot of >$40 racers from the open(rally-consolidate-break): tsl pcln wynn vsea erts bidu celg amzn. IMCL trades for lunch. Best nr7 style I saw was Briefing: smod ach if you wanted to wait till he 38 was hit and rallied. I thought you just got back from vacation? :)

I agree. Last two days was tough for gap position traders. But there is always tomorrow. Rudy

CFC set-up on a break below the .382 retracement. after the recent death spiral, i was afraid it would get a mean short covering rally. i was trading the golds today... 00NR7 - this is a beautiful time in paris anyway -

oonr7 - I was just thinking this myself that lately there have not been good setups - I have been following this type of trade for less than a year but I made money on a gap up trade last week when the rest of the market fell more than 200 points. My point is I think we have an aberration here that will not resolve itself until after the fed meeting (9/18).

Despite my success last week - the trades are not setting up consistently enough these last few weeks and I think it is realted to the volatility of the overall market trying to game whether a rate cut is coming.

I will too next year. If I had taken that advice it would have saved me 30% of my equity.
