Not a good way to come back from a short break and certainly not a way to celebrate my birthday. Everything I shorted today turned on my. DB, AIG, WYNN and DRI... all losers. Some were decent winners before unleashing their ugliness on me.
Oh well, I've had a nice run and, mentally, I'm good with down days.

It was a tough day. I didn't trade today but was watching the market and nothing had much follow through. Probably best to cut down size until the volume returns.

Short the financials that don't gap down: ewbc, or bad news leh. FSYS 4,11/15" 4/30"
bubs: good advice although I've done well on low volume days over the course of the previous 2 weeks. A lot depends on the volume of the particular stock I'm trading. I was fortunate yesterday as I reduced my risk size for DRI as I wasn't in love with the setup and then another entry was pretty tight so I just decided to reduce risk as well.
